This report explores the impact of economic shocks on household income and expenditure, as well as identifies the coping strategies that South Sudanese implement in face of the worsening economic conditions. A real impact of these economic shocks is identified for South Sudanese mental health and well-being, food insecurity and reduced incomes. Several coping strategies implemented by affected households are also considered, among which a common implementation of violent means.
