Return to a Displaced Nation: The Sudan Crisis and South Sudan’s Returnees

This report explores the implications of the displacement from Sudan to South Sudan. With two-third of the population needing humanitarian assistance prior to Sudan’s conflict, the report argues that the current displacement presents a huge challenge to the already fragile situation. Finally, the report provides suggestions on how stakeholders (the government of South Sudan, the UN agencies, and main donors) can address these challenges.
