This report presents the results from a household survey in Aweil North County in Northern Bahr el Ghazal. The report presents the threats that the respondents identified as occurring in their communities. It also looks at how respondents perceived and responded to two particular threats (killing and aerial bombardment, which were identified by about a quarter of respondents as happening in their communities). Finally, it presents the respondents’ perceptions of the army, the police, local government and UN peacekeepers as protection actors.
