Focusing on South Sudan, this this report assesses the implication of the COVID-19 pandemic and related adaptive measures on the effectiveness of community-based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM) interventions. The report finds that economies of scale are a key driver for cost-effectiveness in CMAM programs. Finally, it share some insights on how strategies to increase coverage of CMAM can help reduce the cost of acute malnutrition in the country.
