This book chapter explores the role of digital memory as a form of resistance among immigrant women. Using the example of a South Sudanese immigrant woman, Fatima, the chapter focuses on how women utilize social media to preserve collective trauma and assert their identities, and the role of non-governmental organisations in amplifying these narratives, fostering solidarity, and providing resources of empowerment. The chapter concludes by highlighting the relevance of digital memory in resisting systemic erasure and advocating for social justice.
